There's a wide gap between what CEOs say are the perks they most desire and what they believe even the current hot CEO job market will offer them. A survey by Lee Hecht Harrison, an outplacement firm in Woodcliff Lake, N.J., found that 58% of CEOs put company-paid health-club memberships at the top of their perk wish list. Second was flextime, named by 57% of CEOs. But only 8% of CEOs said they expected to be able to negotiate a company-paid health-club membership when they switch jobs. Just 24% expected to be able to have work time flexibility in their new job.
