Succession Management Conference Features Best Practices

Linkage Inc. will present its Succession Management Conference on Jun. 14 to 16 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington. The event will feature the best practices of companies that successfully have implemented succession planning, workforce planning, talent planning, and/or people planning systems. Representatives of companies such as General Electric Co., Shell Oil International, and Motorola Inc. will present "how-to" information based on their own experiences. Featured speakers will include: Noel Tichy, author of The Leadership Engine: How Winning Companies Build Leaders at Every Level; Richard Gilligan, COO and executive vice president of Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America Inc.; and Linda Hill, a professor at Harvard Business School. Several preconference workshops also will be offered.
