Compiled ByTraci Purdum iRenaissance Internet Application Framework from Ross Systems Inc., a provider of enterprise software solutions, enables users to utilize existing resources and integrate information that may reside on disparate systems across various geographies, the Atlanta-based company says. Using Microsoft .NET framework, iRenaissance offers browser-based deployment that eliminates the need to install software, and allows for instant system upgrades. Application independence enables upgrades to be optimized based on discrete business and IT criteria, and broad connectivity provides connections between iRenaissance applications and employees, partners, other systems and devices. Says Troy Grove, director of information technology at Berner Foods Inc., Dakota, Ill. "With server-based maintenance, our upgrades are now measured in hours instead of days, and system enhancements installed in the server are instantly available. Our users now have personalized, browser-based interfaces that provide secure access to our systems from any PC with an Internet connection."
