ByJohn S. McClenahen The U.S. Commerce Department is planning an aerospace business development mission to Australia and New Zealand from April 27 to May 6. It's designed to help U.S. civil and military aerospace manufacturing and service firms expand their presence in the two South Pacific markets, says Joe Bogosian, deputy assistant secretary of commerce for transportation and machinery, who will lead the trade trip. The delegation is slated to visit Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne in Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand, to gain firsthand market information and to meet with key government officials and potential business partners. Applications for participation in the mission are due by March 31. Information is available from Sean McAlister at (202) 482-6239 or [email protected].
