July 10, 2008
Teltec GmbH, EHWA Diamond Ind. Co., Ltd., JSR Micro N.V, Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. (SPIL), and Phoenix Precision Technology Corp. were recognized as well.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) presented the Fujimi Corp. with its Pathfinder Award for Best Manufacturing Materials Supplier. Additionally, five other suppliers -- Teltec GmbH and EHWA Diamond Ind. Co., Ltd., JSR Micro N.V, Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. , and Phoenix Precision Technology Corp. -- received Achievement Awards.

"AMD has been diligently transforming its supply chain so that we can better serve our customers with AMDs technology. The suppliers we depend on for material and services have enthusiastically joined that effort, with many going the extra mile," said Alex Brown, vice president of Global Supply Management for AMD. "Each of these companies recognized today is setting higher standards for technical innovation, quality and service. AMD is pleased to honor their achievements."

The AMD World Class Supplier Process measures suppliers annually for outstanding performance and exceptional service for manufacturing materials and services. There are two levels of awards achievable: the Pathfinder Award for the best suppliers on overall performance in the areas of Technology, Quality, Cost, Flexibility and Service (TQCFS); and the Achievement Award for exceptional performance in one of those areas.
