Ford U.S. Auto Sales Drop 32%

Ford Motor Co. posted, on Jan. 5, a 32% drop in U.S. auto sales in December.

Total sales for the year was down 20% to just under two million vehicles.

Despite the weak sales, Ford estimated that it managed to increase its share of the U.S. market to 14.6% from 13.9% in December of 2007.
