Wal-Mart, Caterpillar, Ford, IBM, Dow, Others Prepare to Share Sustainability Strategies

Upcoming Chicago conference to address challenges of American enterprise

Chicago is preparing to host Corporate Climate Response in two weeks time where 20 top companies will discuss their sustainability strategies. Wal-Mart, Caterpillar, Ford, BP America, Abbott, Time Inc, Motorola, Walgreens, Anheuser-Busch, Dow, McDonald's, IBM, AIG, Exelon, Intel and Baxter Healthcare are among those presenting. Speakers will discuss the challenges and benefits of their own sustainability strategies with the aim of helping attendees improve or expand their own climate change initiatives. More than 200 sustainability professionals are already signed up to attend this networking event.

Along with the fundamentals of climate action, companies will also be exploring the need for national carbon targets with members of the United States Climate Action Partnership (USCAP) present.

Corporate Climate Response is being organized by Green Power Conferences and takes place on September 25th and 26th at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown in Chicago.
