What Group Includes Ford, Caterpillar, NCR, GE, Whirlpool and Nissan?

All of these companies have come back to the US to produce their products.

While each company has specific reasons for doing so the overall effect is significant.  At a meeting earlier this month of the Council of Manufacturing Associations, IW 2011 Hall of Fame winner Harry Moser presented some interesting numbers.

His group, Reshoring Initiative, has calculated that 50,000 jobs have been created by companies coming back to the US with a multiplier effect of 100,000 jobs.  And these job account for 10% of the job growth in manufacturing.
