Chrysler Sees U.S. Sales Rise 7%

Marks the fifth consecutive month of year-over-year increases

Chrysler reported its August car sales in the United States rose by 7% compared to the same month in 2009.

The automaker sold 99,611 cars in August compared to 93,222 units the previous year, marking the fifth consecutive month of year-over-year increases.

August sales were also up 7%.
