Taiwan Semiconductor's Monthly Revenues Hit All-time High

The world's biggest contract microchip maker said that the figure was up 50.3% from the previous year, or 6% over the previous month.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co said Monday its sales in April hit a record high of 32.7 billion Taiwan dollars (one billion U.S. dollars).

TSMC, the world's biggest contract microchip maker by revenue, said that the figure was up 50.3% from the previous year, or 6% over the previous month.

The company's revenues in the four months to April more than doubled to 121.86 billion Taiwan dollars.
