Ford's U.S. Sales of Key Brands Up 25.5% in April

This is the fifth consecutive month that sales have increased 20%.

Total sales jumped 24.7% in the U.S. Ford reported on May 3.

The company's three main brands -- Ford, Lincoln and Mercury -- saw a 25.5% rise, for a total of 162,996 new vehicles delivered in April.

"It marks the fifth month in a row Ford sales have increased more than 20%.

Year-to-date sales totaled 591,592, up 34%.
