Company cites workforce, proximity to customers as reasons for the move.

Avure Technologies Inc., which makes high-pressure systems for industrial and consumer-goods manufacturing, will relocate its corporate office from the Seattle area to Franklin, Tenn.

The company will occupy a freestanding flex-office building that eventually will employ 30 people, according to the Williamson County Office of Economic Development.

The company's three business units focus on advanced material densification through isostatic processing, sheet-metal forming and food-processing-related services and support.

The privately held company, which has more than doubled in size over the past five years, routinely does business on five continents and is rapidly expanding its global presence.

"Locating Avure's global headquarters in the Nashville area offers advantages that span the full spectrum of factors influencing a move-from a well-educated workforce and geographic accessibility for our customers to a hospitable business climate and broad array of cultural and community amenities," said Pat Adams, president and CEO of Avure Technologies.

"We received a warm reception from the area's municipal leaders. Their forward thinking aligns with our own corporate values, especially our shared commitment to environmental responsibility. We appreciate their support of businesses eager to become good corporate citizens, and we intend to make this our life home."
