NuEarth Corp., a Miramar Beach, Fla.-based manufacturer of green products, announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase a 65,923-square-foot manufacturing facility in Alliance, Ohio.

NuEarth plans to establish a permanent manufacturing and distributing facility at the site, which is located on approximately 5.6 acres of land.

As NuEarth expands its operations in the United States, the need for a centrally located manufacturing and distribution facility for the AquaSolv product line will be a critical stepping and milestone for our growth, NuEarth CEO Steve Young said. Im excited to be extending our commitment to our employeesand future employeesand the community by establishing our long-term presence in the Heartland and Farm Belt of America.

The facility will provide NuEarth with easy access to major roads such as U.S. 62, I-76, I-77 and I-80, which are within 1 mile from the loading docks of the building, the company noted.

Rail access will be provided by Norfolk Southern Corp.s Cleveland Lines, located directly bordering the property to the west and providing a third rail line spur directly onto the property, according to the company. In addition, Alliance, Ohio, is the main intersection of the Fort Wayne and Cleveland lines, bringing both major north-south and east-west traffic through the city.

Sea transportation is available to the facility fewer than 50 miles to the north at the Great Lakes Seaport of Cleveland. International air transportation is available from the four major international and regional airports within 60 miles of the facility (Akron Fulton International, Akron Canton Regional, Greater Pittsburgh International and Cleveland Hopkins International).
