Kitchen Appliance Manufacturer Relocating California Headquarters

Feb. 23, 2010
Dacor, a manufacturer and distributor of luxury kitchen appliances, announced it is relocating its corporate headquarters from Diamond Bar, Calif., to the Plaza Tower in Costa Mesa, Calif.

In addition to its location in one of Dacors largest markets, the Plaza Tower was attractive because it has been LEED-EB Gold certified for its environmentally friendly construction and operation, according to the company. Dacors new headquarters is compatible with the companys serious commitment to the conservation of the environment, which includes the designing and manufacturing of innovative appliances in the most environmentally sensitive way possible and reducing the energy demands of the companys operations.

I am excited that we were able to move our company to this area, which has so much to offer, Chairman/CEO Michael Joseph said. We had a remarkable eight-year run in Diamond Bar and previous to that, for 23 years in Pasadena. However, I truly believe Dacor is in the best place at the right time and I am confident the company will soon begin to grow and prosper as never before.

The relocation is the latest in a series of steps taken by Dacor over the past two years to realign its operations, consolidate corporate functions, increase efficiencies and reduce costs, according to the company.

Dacor noted the transition to the new office space will be complete by March 1. The companys manufacturing facility will continue to operate in City of Industry, Calif.
