Rashed Haq oversees strategy, research, and deployment of next-generation automated driving systems at General Motors. He brings a rare combination of scientific depth, engineering leadership, and real-world autonomy experience.

Most recently, Rashed served as CTO of Diligent Robotics and previously as Vice President and Head of AI & Robotics at Cruise. There, he led the development, safety validation, and commercialization of the first fully driverless ride-hail service in a major U.S. city—surpassing 5 million driverless miles, exceeding aggregate human driving performance, and guiding the company into the Guinness Book of World Records.
