VisionView, a low-cost operator display panel for Cognex In-Sight vision systems has been enhanced to make it easier to monitor the production process and change vision system parameters right on the factory floor... without a PC.
Engineers can now create an operator interface from within the In-Sight Explorer software by simply choosing the vision system parameters they would like to display, and selecting those that can be modified on the factory floor. A deployment interface is then automatically generated by VisionView.
"We've made VisionView simple and intuitive, so that operators can easily view and closely monitor what the vision systems are doing on their production lines, and experience the benefits of machine vision first-hand," said Rick Roszkowski, Cognex Vision System Business Unit Manager.
VisionView has been optimized for machine vision, and features a 7-inch touch screen that displays full color images. It automatically detects any Cognex vision system on the network, and simultaneously displays information from up to nine vision systems, in a tiled view.
