Kingston Technology Unveils 4GB microSDHC Cards

Faster speed and bigger storage capacity allows for even more mobile data storage

Memory product manufacturer Kingston Technology Company, Inc. recently announced the availability of microSD High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash memory cards, starting with a 4GB microSDHC card in a Class 4 speed rating.

Providing speed and capacity increases, Kingston microSDHC cards are designed to meet the rising communication and multimedia demands of mobile phones and digital devices able to take advantage of the advanced expansion memory platform.

Concurrent with the release of the 4GB card, Kingston is launching an adapter pack to help consumers optimize using their microSDHC cards with PCs and other digital devices.

Able to hold thousands of documents and images, as well as large audio or video files, while identical in physical size to the original microSD card, microSDHC is compatible with microSDHC host devices only and not backward compatible with standard microSD-enabled devices or readers.
