If you're going to gadget shop for Christmas, it's only fitting that you travel to the epicenter of technofetishism and gadget worship -- the twin titans of the gadget-based blogosphere, Gizmodo and Engadget.

Here's Gizmodo's gift guide -- broken down by helpful end-user personas such as dog lovers, pedal pushers and powder hounds as well as some off-the-wall categories (sample: Great Gifts for Bad Drivers Loved ones are loved ones-who cares if they think Stop signs are short for "Stoptional?" They still deserve the very best! )

Here's Engadget's gift guide link -- features your more normal tech gift categories (i.e., camcorders, e-readers, netbooks/laptops) as well as a whole separate section featuring "Toys/Neat Stuff" that doesn't neatly fit into other categories -- things like the drone quadricopter pictured below.

Honorable mention: TechCruch's CrunchGear Gift Guide -- featuring a more distilled, best-of-the-best layout and a little more context around the companies that are producing the tech toys we all hold dear (or I should say, "will" hold dear if someone buys them for us!)
