Boeing Company Expands Supply Chain Management Contract With Ryder

Will provide payment and audit services for Boeing's 2.3 million annual freight bills

Ryder System, Inc., a provider of supply chain, warehousing and transportation management solutions, recently announced that Boeing has selected Ryder to manage its Freight Bill Payment & Audit process.

Under a five-year contract, Ryder will provide Boeing with payment and audit services for their approximately 2.3 million annual freight bills. The service is expected to significantly improve the quality of transportation data, thus reducing the volume of exception, said Ryder.

Ryder has been working with Boeing since 2007 and provides a customized transportation management solution. They also provide Boeing with shipment planning, execution and global transportation visibility.
