Nissan Motor said on Oct. 5 it had appointed General Motors veteran Joseph G. Peter as its new chief financial officer.
Peter has been with General Motors for 25 years and is currently its chief financial officer of international operations in Shanghai.
He will replace Alain Dassas, who will return to France in December to work on special projects, according to a statement from Japan's number three automaker, which is 44% owned by France's Renault.
