Ford Motor Co. on Sept. 7 said it is recalling about 3.8 million trucks and sport utility vehicles to correct a faulty speed control switch that could cause a fire. The recall covers the 1994-2002 model-year Ford F-150 pickup, Expedition, Bronco and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. Ford said it will contact owners of these vehicles by mail immediately.
