Navistar offers advice on modeling, simulation, environmental testing and industrial design.

There's good news for manufacturers looking for product development help that exceeds their in-house capabilities -- particularly if you're located in the Midwest. Navistar International Corp. has launched an engineering service to provide outside companies technical and engineering solutions.

International Engineering Solutions (IES) LLC will be based at International Truck and Engine Corp.'s development and technology center in Fort Wayne, Ind. The company's capabilities include modeling and simulation; noise, vibration and harshness analysis and testing; environmental testing; industrial design; aerodynamics analysis; failure mode and effects analysis; ergonomics analysis; and more.

IES offers its services worldwide but is focused initially on Midwest manufacturers.
