Toyota Recalls 57,300 Cars in Turkey

Media reports cite Auris, Verso, Corolla and Yaris cars manufactured between 2005 and 2010 as models being recalled.

As part of a global campaign to fix a faulty accelerator pedal, Toyota has recalled 57,300 vehicles in Turkey, the company said on Feb. 15.

Toyota Turkey asked customers to contact its dealerships for a repair that would take about half an hour.

The company did not say which of its models had been recalled in Turkey, but media reports cited Auris, Verso, Corolla and Yaris cars manufactured between 2005 and 2010.

Altogether more than eight million Toyota cars have been recalled worldwide.
