The Supply-Chain Council (SCC), a global not-for-profit consortium and owner of the Supply-Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) Model, announced the launch of its new SCOR Certification Program for supply chain professionals on March 20.
The certification standardizes the credentials for supply-chain expertise and creates a consistent global standard for excellence in the application of SCOR to an organizations supply chain operations.
SCOR Professional (SCOR/P) is the first certification program to debut. Three additional levels of SCOR certification -- SCOR Scholar, SCOR Expert and SCOR Master -- are being developed. To be eligible for the SCOR/P certification exam, professionals must have completed both the SCOR Framework and SCOR Implementation training courses. A certification handbook, which contains information on taking the test as well as sample test questions, is available for download from the SCC website.
