After closely following the IW 50 Best Manufacturing Companies in 2005 and the beginning of 2006, it is evident that these companies not only perform well financially, they are often in the news for winning awards and accolades within their industries and beyond.
We have attempted to round up all the awards earned by the IW 50 companies during 2005 and 2006. However, the list is not exhaustive since some companies choose not to blow their own horns. The information was culled from company Web sites.

- Buyers Laboratory Inc. honored Lexmark with several awards including Pick of the Year for Most Outstanding Monochrome Printer Line of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Control Panel Design.
- CMP Media named Lexmark Best of Show at its Xchange Tech Innovator Conference. Lexmark also received recognition for Best Hardware Solution, Best Revenue Generator, Best Partner Program and Best XChange Appointment Presentation.
- In 2005 President George W. Bush presented Paccar with the 2004 National Medal of Technology.
- Recognized as one of the 20 Most Influential Multi-Nationals In China by China Business News.
- Ranked as 15th Most-Admired Company on Fortune's List of the Top 20.
- National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) names PepsiCo among the NAFE 2005 Top 30 Companies for Executive Women.
- Institutional Investor magazine's America's Best CFOs ranking listed Indra Nooyi as one of its top CFOs.
- Named among Top 5 Most-Admired Companies by Fortune magazine.
