Manhattan Associates Wins China Logistics,Purchasing Award

Named Best IT Project in 2010

Manhattan Associates received the China Logistics and Purchasing Federation's 'Best IT Project in 2010' Award award for its successful deployment of its solution, Manhattan SCALE: Supply Chain Architected for Logistics Execution, at client Tingtong Logistics, one of China's leading third-party logistics providers.

The award recognized Manhattan Associates for its innovative contribution to automating business processes in the logistics industry. Manhattan SCALE helped Tingtong Logistics to significantly improve operational efficiency, increase labor productivity and deliver impressive cost savings following deployment of the solution at the first 31 of a total of 58 sites across China.

Roger Chou, IT Director, Tingtong Logistics, commented, "Manhattan SCALE has given us centralized control over our distribution function, improved our operational efficiency and allowed us to improve the service levels we provide to our customers."

The China Logistics and Purchasing Federation awards are designed to highlight the importance of supply chain and logistics excellence by rewarding outstanding performance of leading IT providers. The 2010 awards event was hosted in Hangzhou on September 8th.
