Truck, rail, air and ocean transporters are looking at a future hampered with a shortage of capacity and equipment and burdened with global security concerns. At the 31st Annual Conference of the Transportation Consumer Protection Council, held March 20-23, 2005 in San Diego, these issues will take center stage. In conjunction with the Transportation Loss Prevention & Security Association, the conference will also explore new technologies such as RFID and discuss insurance and legal issues.
