In recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness Month, IndustryWeek is featuring a training program launched by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing: Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) at Work for Manufacturing. The program is a series of four courses designed to improve mental health literacy among employees and leaders in the manufacturing industry.
MHFA National Trainers Lynn Hennighausen and Rob Vallentine join IndustryWeek’s News and Supply Chain Editor Anna Smith to discuss the stigma surrounding mental health, what the MHFA training program offers manufacturing workers and the business case for mental health literacy in the workplace.
