Tempur-Pedic Taps Optiant for Inventory and Supply Chain Optimization Software

Lexington, Ky.-based Tempur-Pedic International Inc. has selected Optiant's PowerChain inventory and supply chain optimization suite to achieve both strategic and tactical goals within its supply chain operations.

Tempur-Pedic's initiatives call for both a streamlined supply chain network and elevated levels of customer service, which require an end-to-end planning system that can deliver holistic optimizations across the business, according to Burlington, Mass.-based Optiant.

Optiant's PowerChain Suite sets optimal safety stock levels, positions inventory, establishes rules for replenishment and optimizes inventory policies, according to the company.

"Optiant is proud to work with industry leaders as we deliver multi-echelon inventory optimization and supply chain network design solutions," Optiant CEO Fred Lizza said. Optiant's PowerChain provides a comprehensive set of tools that builds business intelligence and creates strategies to improve the performance of inventory, helping businesses make more informed decisions about their inventory practices, according to Optiant.
