CHIBA, Japan — The Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies, or CEATEC, is the Asian version of the Consumer Electronics Show, with hundreds of tech companies unveiling their latest creations. Some of those new items will be available for commercial purchase (like the Bocco robot spotlighted on the 11th slide), while others are purely for developmental and exhibition purposes (like the Omron pingpong-playing robot on the first ).
