February vehicle sales nearly tripled for Ford's subsidiary in India.
Ford India achieved a 188% increase in year-over-year sales in February, fueled by brisk sales of the Figo, according to the automaker. Ford India sold 9,293 vehicles this February, compared with 3,223 in February 2010.
The Figo, which celebrates its one-year anniversary this month, has sold more than 76,000 units since its launch, according to Ford.
