Existing home sales fell a slight 0.1% in Jan. to a seasonally-adjusted annual rate of 6.80 million units compared with a revised 6.81 million in Dec., The National Association of Realtors said Friday. Wall Street had forecast that sales would dip to 6.70 million units in January. The realtors' association said that sales were up 13.7% compared with Jan. of 2004.
