A shakeup in the outsourcing market is predicted as the dominant companies face increasing competition from Indian companies. These new factors will change how outsourcing is delivered according to a recent article by Lance Travis of Boston-based AMR Research.
Driven by a decrease in spending as current contracts expire, Travis sees a more balanced global delivery model. He predicts that there will be consolidation among the largest six consulting companies. Furthermore one of these companies might purchase an Indian company, and Indian companies might consolidate as well.
