Lockheed Martin Dedicates New Missile Facility in Arkansas

New facility will enable continued product expansion and modest employment growth.

Bethesda, Md.-based Lockheed Martin on May 26 dedicated the expansion of its Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile production complex in Camden, Ark., during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The company noted that it expects the new facility to allow for continued production expansion and modest employment growth over the next several years.

The 72,000-square-foot PAC-3 All Up Round (AUR) II building is located on the Camden operations campus, adjacent to the existing 52,000-square-foot PAC-3 AUR I facility.

In addition to the PAC-3, the Camden complex is the final assembly site for several Lockheed Martin weapons systems, including the Multiple Launch Rocket System line of launchers and precision-strike guided rockets.

The dedication of the new building marks our continued investment in the state of Arkansas and Lockheed Martins commitment to developing and manufacturing the PAC-3 missile here in Camden, said Glenn David Woods, site director of Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Controls Camden operations. Our Camden employees are proud to play a pivotal role in producing the worlds most advanced terminal air defense missile that serves our war fighters in their defining moments.
