FRANKFURT --Top-of-the-range carmaker BMW (IW 1000/36) is on track for record sales in 2012 after buoyant November sales.
"We're on target," chief financial officer Friedrich Eichiner said at a sneak preview of new models in Munich, where he confirmed the automakers goals for 2012.
In November, BMW's worldwide sales rose by about 20% to more than 170,000 vehicles.
In the 11 months to November, vehicle sales so far this year reached about 1.66 million, an increase of some 10%, Eichiner added.
