APAC Manufacturing Sector's IT Spending To Reach $23.7 Billion

Hardware will continue to dominate tech spending.

IT spending in Asia Pacific's manufacturing sector is forecast to grow to $23.7 billion in the next for four years, led by the high-tech, consumer packaged goods and automotive vertical markets.

According to an IDC Manufacturing Insights report, hardware will continue to dominate tech spending, although a faster growth rate is expected for packaged software and services expenditures.

Chinese manufacturing companies are expected to spend the most, while India is expected to hike IT spending as well for all sub-sectors.
