GreenChek Announces Plant Retrofit

June 8, 2009
The company's plant in Tiajin, China will now handle the production of the ERD 2.0 machine.

GreenChek Technologies Inc., a San Franciso, Calif-based provider of hydrogen fuel cell technology for commercial transportation and stationary power generation applications, announced on June 8 that its plant in Tianjin, China has been retrofitted. It will handle the production of Greencheks ERD 2.0 machine.

The company expects that its Tianjin Sherma plant's capacity of 1050 units per month will be adequate based on anticipated orders from Europe and the UK. The 4000sq ft facility will accomodate the increased demand for emission reduction devices. The company manufactures an emission reducing device known as the ERD, which can be retrofitted to any vehicle regardless of fuel source.

The company is also negotiating additional square footage in anticipation of future growth. The new European EPA, coupled with standards, indicate that there is an increased demand for these devices.

GreenChek manufactures and distributes hydrogen injection technology that is primarily focused on mobile transportation applications, as well as stationary power generation applications. The company has operations in the U.S., Canada, Asia and Europe.
