Summary

Many manufacturers struggle to fully leverage IIoT due to outdated data systems infrastructure with unreliable and hackable unsecure connectivity. Traditional networks typically lack the flexibility to scale up with more onboard additional devices, and conventional wireless solutions lack the necessary bandwidth, speed and reliability needed for IIoT devices.

In this live, interactive panel discussion, experts from IFM, Atlas Copco, Streamwide and Ericsson will share real-world applications of Industrial IoT in manufacturing including connected factory workers, asset condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and quality control. They’ll also discuss why the speed, low latency, coverage and security of private 5G cellular networks play an essential role in the success of these initiatives.

  • IIoT ecosystems form the backbone of modern data-driven manufacturing, learn how ecosystem players are collaborating to realize key IIoT use cases using 5G.
  • Learn how 5G offers the reliable, low-latency connectivity that IIoT devices require for smooth operation in factory settings—keeping sensitive data on-site and bolstering security by reducing the vulnerability of transmitting data over larger distances.
