Lack of trust, lack of loyalty.

A survey of 7,209 executives, managers and employees found there's a distinct "trust gap" in many companies between employees and the organization. Bottom line: Lack of employee trust can seriously impact worker loyalty to a company.

20 Percent of people who strongly trust the top management of their organization.

36 Percent of employees who moderately trust their top management.

44 Percent of those who don't trust or strongly distrust their top management.
