New Benchmark: Oxford Includes Business Jargon

What do TQM, outsourcing, benchmark, and delayering have in common -- besides their business usage? They are now listed in the New Oxford Dictionary of English (1998, Oxford University Press). And the tome, billed by its publisher as "the first real dictionary of English as a world language," also is relaxing the rules of English grammar. Writers and speakers of English need no longer hesitate to boldly go and split an infinitive, it opines.
