Clean Energy Should be Invented in America, Made in America and Sold Around the World
Those are the fighting words of U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu who spoke them back in June of this year as he announced the 13 projects that his department will fund.
With the goal of helping the manufacturing sector get the resources it needs, the Energy Department invested $54 million in 13 projects.
Waving the flag at every turn, Secretary Chu’s office said it is supporting "an economy built on American manufacturing, American energy, and skills for American workers."
