Manufacturing & Technology 2020, an IndustryWeek Event, Moves to December 2020

April 16, 2020
The annual conference and expo will maintain its focus on connecting manufacturing leaders with innovative strategies, solutions and insights to help them navigate today's rapidly evolving industry.

In order to protect the safety and wellbeing of our speakers, exhibitors, attendees and staff as we combat the COVID-19 pandemic, Manufacturing & Technology 2020, an IndustryWeek event, will be postponed until December 1-3, 2020.

"The manufacturing community's hearts, minds and efforts are now rightly focused on COVID-19—building products to support first responders, manufacturing essential goods needed by the wider community, and, of course, taking care of their own families in this time of crisis," says Travis Hessman, IndustryWeek editor-in-chief. "Our priority is to support these efforts during this global emergency."

M&T 2020, originally scheduled for June 23-25, will now take place Dec. 1-3 at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida.

The annual conference and expo will maintain its focus on connecting manufacturing leaders with innovative strategies, solutions and insights to help them navigate today's rapidly evolving industry. The delay will allow us to include discussions about how COVID-19 has impacted the manufacturing industry and lessons learned from the struggle—which will be vital as the industry returns to full operation.

"These extraordinary times have required extraordinary actions from the manufacturing community," says Hessman. "It has underscored the importance of technology and flexibility; it has redefined our approach to supply chains and leadership. If we apply these lessons correctly, the manufacturing industry will emerge from this experience stronger and more resilient than ever before."

Manufacturing & Technology is a conference and expo designed to provide a unique learning experience that provides real-world strategies, solutions, and best practices to solve real-world challenges facing the industry today and into the future.
