With an 11th death now linked to an exploded Takata airbag in a Honda Civic, Takata Corp. is reportedly preparing to remove its CEO, Shigehisa Takada, the International Business Times reported today.

Takada is the grandson of the company’s founder.

Takata recently asked automakers for assistance in financing replacement parts for the recall cars.
