This week we lead with the fourth episode of our Smart Manufacturers series, "Robots Rule LG's Clarksville Plant," that I shot on a visit to their facility last year. LG gave me almost an entire day's unfettered access to the shop floor to allow me to shoot the footage I needed.
The cadence for Smart Manufacturers is ultimately dictated by whether or not manufacturers allow this level of plant access, so I also want to thank John Deere, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence and Viridi for being so generous with their time and enabling the production of our first three episodes.
I've also included a story about the relationship between automation and supply chain that's a little off the beaten path for us but makes some strong arguments for why automation is critical to reshoring.
