A Celebration of Excellence: Presenting the 2022 IW Best Plants Awards

IndustryWeek was pleased to honor the 2022 IW Best Plants Awards winners at the Manufacturing & Technology Show in Cleveland.

IndustryWeek is a firm believer that success should be celebrated, so it was our pleasure to honor the 2022 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards winners at the Manufacturing & Technology Show in mid-October. 

Four manufacturing plants were named to the 2022 class of award winners in August. They are: 

In October we presented the award winners with a physical symbol of their success--the Pinnacle Award. We call it the Pinnacle Award because it represents the highest echelon of manufacturing excellence.

Bio: Robert Schoenberger has been writing about manufacturing technology in one form or another since the late 1990s. He began his career in newspapers in South Texas and has worked for The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Mississippi; The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Kentucky; and The Plain Dealer in Cleveland where he spent more than six years as the automotive reporter. In 2014, he launched Today's Motor Vehicles (now EV Manufacturing & Design), a magazine focusing on design and manufacturing topics within the automotive and commercial truck worlds. He joined IndustryWeek in late 2021.

Ryan got started at IndustryWeek in August 2019 as an editorial intern and was hired as a news editor in 2020 before his 2023 promotion to associate editor, talent. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of Wooster.
