GlaxoSmithKline, Volvo And Others Report Successful Use Of RFID: Smart Labels Europe 2005
According to a summary from IDTechEx, some companies are seeing returns on RFID investments. At Smart Labels Europe 2005, held at Cambridge Univ., London on Oct. 20-21, GlaxoSmithKline discussed its successful use of RFID for research and development. Volvo reported saving $80 million from RFID tagging racks.
