In order to make sure that its programs are available on all platforms, International Business Systems (IBS), a software provider headquartered in Stockholm, in alliance with IBM, will offer versions of its supply chain-focused enterprise software suite ASW to run on i5/OS, Linux, Unix and Windows.

As most supply chains have evolved to become very efficient in basic processes, companies are now looking to improving communication processes with suppliers and customers. By combining the IBM WebSphere platform, a widely used open standards-based middleware, with IBS' offering, customers can build on current IT assets without having to replace existing servers. The enhanced product will help facilitate automation, e-business, collaboration and integration between the company and its suppliers and customers.
