Sure, it can rewrite a term paper for a college student, generate customer pitches for salespeople or give you a (wildly inaccurate) summary of what really happened in Roswell, New Mexico. But can it improve toolpaths for machine tools, cut wasted motions in robots or improve flow through your manufacturing operations?
To answer that, IndustryWeek recently invited several of our colleagues from Endeavor Business Media to discuss what's possible with generative AI now, and what might be coming in the future.
