GE Makes Management Changes in Aviation, Health Care Businesses

Company appoints three new officers.

GE has appointed Anthony Aiello, Alan Caslavka and Kieran Murphy to executive posts.

Anthony Aiello

Aiello, 47, has been named vice president, assembly, test and overhaul, for GE Aviation.

In this role, Aiello leads all the development, manufacturing, testing and overhaul facilities operated by GE Aviation around the world.

Aiello, who began his career with GE in 1986, held several leadership positions in manufacturing, assembly and testing at both GE Transportation and GE Aviation before being named to his current role.

Alan Caslavka

Caslavka, 49, has been appointed vice president, avionics systems, for GE Aviation Systems.

Caslavka recently joined GE from aircraft-electronics supplier Rockwell Collins.

During his more than 25 years at Rockwell Collins, Caslavka held various manufacturing operations, engineering and program management positions, most recently as vice president and general manager for the company's Precision Strike Platforms and Navigation Products group.

Kieran Murphy

Kieran Murphy
Murphy, 48, is president and CEO, life sciences, for GE Healthcare.

In his current role, Murphy is responsible for driving global growth of the life sciences business.

Murphy has more than 20 years of commercial experience in the life sciences sector, including CEO roles for Whatman plc, Adprotech and Innovata plc.

He joined GE with the acquisition of Whatman plc in April 2008, initially as commercial leader for EMEA and AGM before becoming general manager for Global Commercial Operations.
