The 216,000-square-foot facility, located in the University Area of northeast Charlotte, was built in 2000 and renovated by Electrolux in 2010 at a cost of approximately $13 million, according to the company.

The building already houses the company's North American Major Appliances and Professional sectors, along with the Electrolux International team, which includes global licensing.
